Value per minute

What it means

Hours feel abstract; minutes don't. Most interruptions, scrolls and small tasks are measured in minutes, so pricing a minute makes the cost of them visible.

The gap between what a minute is worth now and what it needs to be worth at your goal is the clearest way to see how far there is to go.

Example

Jordan earns $150,000 and is aiming for $250,000. 2,080 working hours a year.

Now, $150,000	$1.20 a minute
Goal, $250,000	$2.00 a minute
Gap to close	$0.80 a minute
