Price your time
Your salary, rate or business becomes a value for every hour, minute and second.
Most money gets spent before anyone checks what it costs in time. Time Valuer prices your time, your activities and your goals, so every decision shows its real cost and you can see your progress toward where you want to be.

Your salary, rate or business becomes a value for every hour, minute and second.
Purchases, chores, meetings and projects show what they cost in hours of your life.
A big income goal becomes a per-minute target you can check every decision against.
Create a profile for anything with a value attached: your salary, a freelance rate, a client, a side project, a team member or a goal. Each one tells you what an hour, a minute and a second are worth.
Meet Jordan, a product lead earning $150,000 who wants to reach $250,000. An extra $100,000 a year feels abstract. Broken down, it's 80 cents more for every working minute: from $1.20 to $2.00.
That turns a goal into a rule Jordan can use all day. Work worth more than $2.00 a minute gets the time. Work worth less gets delegated, automated or dropped. Compare profiles over time to track the growth.
Outlook is the screen to open first every morning. It shows the working time left today, this week, this month and this year, in minutes and in dollars.
Work expands to fill the time you give it. When Jordan sees 140 working minutes left this afternoon, worth $280 at the goal rate, it's easy to drop the low-value task and protect the important one. This year has — days left.
If doing something yourself costs more than what you'd earn in that time, or more than your goal says your time is worth, pay someone to do it.
| Clean the house yourself4 hours at the $250,000 goal rate | $481 |
| Pay a cleaner | $160 |
| Goal time kept on track | $321 |
Start the money stopwatch from any profile during a focus block, a client call or a meeting. It counts dollars and cents as the minutes pass, and keeps going in the background.
A one-hour focus block at Jordan's goal rate is worth $120.19. Seeing it climb makes interruptions expensive.
Add each team member as a profile, at $9.99 each, paid once and saved on your device. Then price projects on the hours they really take, add a margin, and compare the quote with the budget.

You can always earn more money. You can't earn more time. But the first step is to price everything, so you know where you stand and where you're headed. Once you do, you start seeing every choice in time, and in dollars and cents.
Set an income goal, see it per minute, and spend each day on work that moves it. Delegate the rest.
Know what your team's time costs. Price projects with a margin, protect the budget and cut meetings that don't pay.
Open Outlook each morning, see what's left and what it's worth, and decide what deserves it.
Set up once, then use it in the moments decisions happen.

Time Valuer is an iPhone app that prices time. It turns your pay and your income goals into a value for every hour, minute and second, then shows what purchases and activities cost in time, how much working time is left today and this year, whether to do something yourself or pay someone, and what projects and meetings cost a business.
It divides your pay by the hours you work. A $150,000 salary over 2,080 working hours a year (40 hours a week, 52 weeks) is $72.12 an hour, or $1.20 a minute. Time Valuer uses the schedule in your profile, so the number matches the hours you actually work.
Add a margin to what you earn now to set a goal, and Time Valuer breaks it down to the minute. Going from $150,000 to $250,000 sounds huge; it's 80 cents more for every working minute, from $1.20 to $2.00. That gives you a simple test for every decision, and Outlook shows how much of the year is left to close the gap.
Outlook shows the working time left today, this week, this month and this year, in minutes and in dollars. Today is split into morning, afternoon and evening, the month is a ring of minutes left, and the year is a grid of days. Seeing what's left makes it easier to spend the rest of the day on what matters.
Compare what the task costs in your time with what it costs to pay someone. At a $250,000 goal your time is worth about $120 an hour, so four hours of cleaning costs $481 of your time. If a cleaner charges $160, paying keeps $321 of goal time on track, as long as you spend those hours on work or rest that matters to you.
Add each team member as a profile with their salary or rate. Then price a project from the hours each person will spend, add a margin to set the quote, and compare it with the budget. With your team in Time Valuer, you can also see what any meeting costs, ranked by who's in the room.
