What it means

The rule is simple: if paying someone costs less than the value of the hours you'd spend, pay them, and put those hours into higher-value work or rest.

High performers delegate early. The hard part isn't the math; it's knowing the value of your own hour.

Example

Jordan earns $150,000 and is aiming for $250,000. 2,080 working hours a year.
Cleaning, 4 hours at the $250,000 goal rate$481
Paying a cleaner$160
Value kept$321

In Time Valuer

Time Valuer compares the value of your time with the price of paying someone, so you know when to do it yourself and when to pay someone.
