What it means

Every hour spent on one thing is an hour not spent on another. Opportunity cost names the trade so it can be weighed.

It explains why saving a little money can be expensive: if the time it takes is worth more than the saving, you've lost.

Example

Jordan earns $150,000 and is aiming for $250,000. 2,080 working hours a year.
Drive across town to save$30
Time it takes2 hours
Value of 2 hours at the $250,000 goal$240
Real result−$210

In Time Valuer
